Exam cheating case studies: what it really costs
Someone will offer you a shortcut: a proxy who sits the test for you, a leaked paper, a file of "actual exam questions", a diploma you never studied for. These investigations follow what happened to people who took the offer, using court records, regulators and the exam bodies' own statements.
Short answer
Every scheme here was caught, and the people who paid lost more than the fee: cancelled scores, revoked licences and certifications, bans from retesting, visa refusals, and in some cases criminal records. The exams themselves are learnable on a plan, and each case ends with what that plan looks like.
