How It Is Calculated
HashiCorp releases no information about how the Terraform Associate is scored. What is documented is what candidates see: an immediate pass or fail decision in Certiverse, followed 48 hours later by a report showing performance on each objective area with no percentage attached. HashiCorp states directly that it does not share your score percentage or its scoring threshold. No penalty for wrong answers is published, so an unanswered item cannot beat a guess.
When You Get Results
Pass or fail appears inside Certiverse immediately on submitting the exam. The objective-level results report becomes downloadable in the HashiCorp Certification Exam Portal 48 hours after the appointment, with an email notification when it is ready. Digital badges and certificates are issued through Credly.
- Two forms of valid ID (one government-issued with photo)
- Appointment confirmation email
- For online proctoring: webcam, microphone, clean desk, stable internet
