Specific Requirements
- You must attend all four days of the Implementing SAFe course. Scaled Agile requires full attendance for SPC certification even if you have already completed Leading SAFe.
- Exam access is granted through the Learning Plan after course completion, so there is no route to the exam without the course.
- Scaled Agile lists SAFe for Teams (SP) and Leading SAFe (SA) as recommended prerequisites rather than mandatory ones.
- Scaled Agile describes the ideal candidate as having a firm understanding of Lean-Agile principles plus a background in consulting, project management, product leadership or portfolio management, with prior experience in a SAFe role such as RTE or product manager also helping.
- You must review and accept the Candidate Agreement before the exam can start.
- To earn the Advanced SAFe Practice Consultant certification later, an active SPC certification is required first.
