Specific Requirements
- There is no barrier to registering for EX294 itself, and passing it alone awards the Red Hat Certified Advanced System Administrator in Ansible certification.
- To earn Red Hat Certified Engineer in Ansible you must hold a current RHCSA earned through EX200 as well as passing EX294.
- Red Hat recommends, without requiring, that you have taken Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) and II (RH134), or the RHCSA Rapid Track course (RH199), or have comparable experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Red Hat also recommends Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (AU294), previously catalogued as RH294, or comparable work experience with Ansible.
- You must be eighteen years of age to purchase and consume Red Hat training and exams, a rule Red Hat states on its Training Policies page. You must also upload a valid government-issued photo ID before the session.
- For a remote exam you must pass the mandatory compatibility test from the Red Hat LiveUSB environment before your exam date, using the hardware and network you intend to test on.
